Edison Technologies Limited has officially introduced a new era of electric mobility in Bangladesh by unveiling the country’s first sodium-ion and LMFP battery-powered electric vehicles. The landmark launch took place at the first-ever TAILG Bangladesh Expo 2026 held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka. During the grand exhibition, TailG showcased an advanced lineup of electric motorcycles, led by the new TailG Rhino T53, TailG Jaguar T72L, and Super Phoenix F73L.

TailG Rhino T53 Introduces Sodium-Ion Technology

The TailG Rhino T53 comes as Bangladesh’s first electric motorcycle powered by a sodium-ion battery. Edison Technologies Limited has engineered this innovative model to offer significant improvements over traditional lead-acid batteries. The Rhino T53 delivers enhanced safety, greater durability, and faster charging capabilities. According to the company, the charging rate and overall battery life of the sodium-ion system are almost double those of standard lead-acid alternatives, providing riders with a more efficient daily commuting experience.

TailG Jaguar T72L Features Proprietary LMFP Battery

Alongside the Rhino T53, the company also introduced the TailG Jaguar T72L as Bangladesh’s first electric motorcycle powered by a proprietary Lithium Manganese Iron Phosphate (LMFP) battery. TailG designed this proprietary technology to provide superior safety standards along with an impressive lifespan exceeding 3,000 charging cycles. Furthermore, the brand showcased models utilizing upgraded removable LFP batteries, which allow users to easily detach the power source and charge it conveniently at home or in the office.

Local Manufacturing Plans and Future Expansion
